Welcome to NMAquarist.org! I'm starting this site to encourage a community to build up around the fish-keeping hobby here in New Mexico. I'm based in Albuquerque, but would love to see participation from other parts of the state.

Hey Samuel, asked Robbie at Southwest Reef if there were any clubs. he said most have come and gone. Do you know of any. Interested in maybe starting one?

There was a salt-water club called NM Ocean Keepers. They have a forum over at reef central. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=&forumid...
I created a forum for them here, but there has been very little interest in moving over.
I've had plans to try and have meetings for members of this forum, but life has been busy the last few months and I just haven't gotten there. Maybe this summer. All we're lacking is someone with the initiative to make it happen. I think there is interest based on the poll that has been running. If you want to take charge, go start a thread in the general forum and see if you can drum up some interest. I think people will be willing to help.
