I have extra plants and a CO2 system to give away to anyone who can use them. I don't want to mail them -- if you live or will be in the Santa Fe area, let me know what you're interested in. If you're in Albq, I may be able to find an excuse to bring it down to you (if it ever stops snowing up here -- ha!)

The Red Sea CO2 system is from Fosters Smith and I'll also throw in the 12 oz CO2 tank. I only used it a few weeks -- too much fiddling for me. I've decided I prefer a simpler, non-CO2 tank.

All of the plants are healthy, hardy and easy to grow. They have been grown with 2 watts of light and no CO2, temp about 80 degrees; Excel used periodically for fertilizer.

1 - Echinodorus x. Ozelot - lots of red splotches on this one; big root system.
1 - Echinodorus x ? -- not sure about the variety. About 9" tall with 5" x 3.5" green leaves. I bought it just recently from PetCo but decided not to use it. Will likely be a good-sized sword.
3 - Crypt Gecko - Beautiful plants having medium green with red along the middle vein of the leaves. Grows to about 9" tall. The red doesn't appear until it's established in your tank. Hopefully it won't melt, but if it does, have patience and it will come back.
1 - Didiplis diandra - 1 bunch of 7 stems.
4 - Aponogeton x ? - a pretty hybrid that looks like a very narrow cross between rigidifolius and crispus. Height is about 12" with 1/4" wide leaves with ruffled edges (very slow-growing -- took my original plant several years to reach this height and start to reproduce) Although most aponogetons need a resting period in cooler water once a year, this one seems to survive without a rest. Easily flowers several times a year and the resulting seeds produce a carpet of grass-like plants that are easy to pull out if you don't want them.

Hi Ruth,

I'd be happy to take the Red Sea Co2 system off yours hands! I live in ABQ, but could come up to Santa Fe whenever.

Wish I could take the plants too but still in the middle of my tank setup.

Your ad is over a year old, so I have to ask. Do you still have any of your plants left?

If so I will be in Alb on Thursday afternoon, 9/08/2011. And could meet you somewhere, It is an all day trip from Carlsbad to Alb if one only has a stop or two.

Let me know,

God bless
